In the summer of 2018, I attended Fresh Inc, where my piece genealogy I was given its premiere.

In 2017 I wrote live parts to accompany tracks from the Grand Valley State University New Music Ensemble‘s most recent record, RETURN.

The static then consumes you was the top-prize winning work at the 2017 GVSU New Music Ensemble Composition Competition. The competition solicits 60-second works from GVSU composers responding to artwork from a particular gallery showing. In 2017, we responded to a work titled Comfortably Numb, created by GVSU Artist-in-Residence Nayda Collazo-Llorens.

My recently deceased rock band, The Lake Effects (R.I.P.) released two commercial albums and played dozens of shows throughout Michigan during our four-year tenure.

Waiting for Niko was a part of my senior project at GVSU. It was an ensemble of dear friends that formed to perform four tracks written specifically for the group.

In 2015, I was a runner up in the 2015 Donald Sinta Quartet Composition Competition, and they premiered my piece In Search of a Beer Mug at Kerrytown Concert Hall in Ann Arbor, MI.

For a second time, my piece Canvas the Bear was taken on tour by the Grand Valley State University New Music Ensemble, who have now performed it in a total of nine National Parks. Rad! This recording is from Yellowstone National Park (on the first tour), and a studio version will soon be available.
